We are thrilled to welcome the following new associates to the Cambridge LLP Team.

Joseph Diletti

Joseph is a lawyer with the Estates Group at Cambridge LLP. He received his Juris Doctor from the University of Melbourne in 2015 after completing a semester abroad at the University of British Columbia, and was called to the Bar in 2018. He received a Bachelor of Arts from McMaster University, majoring in Art History and minoring in Commerce.

During his time at the University of Melbourne Joseph was a member of the Editorial Board of the Melbourne Journal of International Law for three years, Australia’s premier peer-reviewed international law journal. Before beginning a legal career, Joseph worked as a stone mason for nearly a decade, managing his family business.

Sarah Berhane

Sarah is practicing in the Estates Litigation and Business Litigation Groups at Cambridge LLP.

She holds an honors degree in Criminology and Sociology from York University and a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Osgoode Hall Law School. Sarah was called to the Ontario Bar in 2015. Sarah’s litigation practice includes Will Challenges, Estates & Trust Accountings, and Executor & Trustee Negligence.

Prior to joining Cambridge LLP, Sarah practiced at a litigation boutique in Toronto. Sarah has also appeared before the Ontario Court of Justice and Superior Court of Justice in Toronto and throughout the GTA, representing clients at all stages of criminal matters.

Sakina Babwani

Sakina is an associate with the Cross-Border, Business and Estates Litigation groups at Cambridge LLP.

Sakina was called to the Ontario Bar and to the Bar Council of Maharashtra & Goa, India. She received her LL.M. with specialization in Business Law from UC Berkeley School of Law, USA. She also holds an LL.B. and B.A. from University of Mumbai, India. She is fluent in Hindi, Urdu and Gujarati.

Prior to being called to the Bar in India, Sakina worked as a business journalist for four years with India’s largest financial daily The Economic Times, extensively covering law and finance. She has written over 150 articles with a special focus on analysis of the legal and financial system in India.
